I had walked up Latrigg for the view. The one looking down over Keswick and the whole length of Derwent Water, which is the reason anybody walks up Latrigg.
Then I turned round.
Behind the fell, down in the valley, a stand of birch had gone copper and gold all at once, bunched up tight together with dead bracken behind them. I spent considerably longer on that than I did on the view I had actually come up for.
Printed by me, on my own printer, in my spare room. Every print is checked under a proper light before it goes anywhere. If it is not right it does not get sent, it gets binned and I print another one.
Paper: Fotospeed NST Bright White 315, 100% cotton, acid free and archival.
Inks: Epson Surecolor P900 pigment inks, fade resistant.
Border: a white border on all sides, sized for standard frames so a high street frame will fit without a custom mount.
Signed in pencil on the border. A2 and A3 are numbered within the edition and arrive with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Supplied unframed. Every print ships flat, never rolled, between acid free tissue and rigid board.
